School Dress Code

                             Dress Code Policy

     

    Tops

    • Polo shirts with a collar, free from logos or design, in light blue, hunter green, or burgundy.
    • Undershirts, if worn, must be plain white and not show.
    • School spirit shirts may be worn on the last day of the school week.

     

    Bottoms

    • Boys: navy blue mid-thigh length (fingertip-length) shorts or pants.
    • Girls: navy blue mid-thigh length (fingertip-length) shorts, skorts, skirts, or jumpers (no dresses).
    • Tights or leggings may be worn ONLY under shorts, skorts, skirts, or jumpers and must be solid white, navy blue, or black.
    • Spandex, jeggings, sweatpants, athletic pants, joggers, or pajamas are not permitted.

     

    Footwear

    • White, navy blue, or black socks.
    • Athletic or tennis shoes only.
    • Crocs, sandals, slides, flipflops, heels, boots or the “Healy” type shoes (with or without wheels) are not permitted.

     

    Outerwear

    • Sweatshirts, sweaters, and jackets/hoodies must be solid in color with no design or logo if worn in the classroom.
    • Parents may select any type of outerwear they wish if worn outside the classroom (refer to the dress code in the Code of Student Conduct).
    • Hoods, hats, or other head coverings are not permitted to be worn indoors unless permitted by the principal for religious or medical reasons.

     

     

    *Students not in compliance will be sent to the office to change. Parents may be called to bring a change of clothes for their child. Continued infractions are subject to discipline as defined in the PCSB code of conduct. Anything not specifically covered in the school uniform policy defaults to the district dress code (https://www.pcsb.org/dresscode) *
