Mrs. Leza Fatolitis

I am honored to serve as the Principal of Tarpon Springs High School—a place that holds a special meaning for me as an alumna, having graduated in the Class of 1991. My educational journey began at St. Petersburg Junior College, after which I transferred to Florida State University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Childhood Development.

Following my time at FSU, I pursued a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from Nova Southeastern University. In 2005, I returned to Nova to complete an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership (Grades K–12).

I hold certifications in Elementary Education (Grades 1–6), Educational Leadership (K–12), and School Principalship (K–12). Over the years, I have had the privilege of serving in various educational roles: nanny during college, preschool teacher in Tarpon Springs, substitute teacher for Pinellas County Schools beginning in 1995, 4th grade teacher at Garrison-Jones Elementary, and part-time Adult Education instructor helping individuals earn their Child Development Associate credentials.

My administrative experience includes serving as Assistant Principal of Curriculum at Safety Harbor Middle School and then as Assistant Principal at Tarpon Springs High School for seven years. In October 2015, I was honored to be promoted to Principal of TSHS.

I am passionate about working to ensure every student has a well-rounded school experience. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband Peter, our daughter Maria, and our two dogs, Winston and Charlotte. We love traveling, camping, exploring the outdoors, watching sports, and hosting friends & family.

Serving our school community is both a privilege and a joy. Tarpon Springs High School is a true gem, with dedicated and talented staff, respectful students, supportive families and a community that stands behind us every step of the way. Our school continues to grow, evolve, and shine brighter each year. I am proud to lead such a wonderful community school and look forward to coming to work every day.

My commitment remains steadfast: to provide our students and staff with the best possible school experience, the resources they need to thrive, and unwavering support throughout their time at TSHS so we meet our collective goal of 100% student success.
