About

Bauder Elementary is an open-spaced learning community of over 800 prekindergarten through 5th-grade students. There is a staff of 65 full-time professional staff, 11 itinerate professional staff, and 35 support staff. 

Points of Pride

• Bauder continues to be a Five Star School. 
• Nineteen Bauder teachers have advanced degrees.
• Bauder hosts an annual Science Expo that features a science project from every student or class. More than 1,000 visitors attended. 

Special Services & Programs 

• A gifted program that serves more than 100 students. 
• Provides additional time for learning mathematics in the After-School Math Program. 
• Believes in the strengths and gifts of each child and provides an enrichment program that allows all students to work in their area of passion and/or strength.
• Provides extended learning time in literacy in the Before School Literacy Program. 
• Book Club for students to join and collaborate while reading the Sunshine State Readers and books of interest. 

Arrival/Dismissal

Students are encouraged to ride their bike, skate or walk to school.  Parents may drop off students from 8:15-8:35 a.m. and pick students up from 2:55-3:15 p.m. School buses arrive in the front circle, and this area is not used for drop off and pick up. Students can be picked up from west or east gate and must have placard hanging in window.

Signing In

All parents and visitors are required to sign in at the front office before visiting the classroom for conferences, programs, etc. A photo identification is required at sign-in, if you are requesting entrance into the school for any reason. This is necessary and enforced for the safety of our students.
