Mentors:
Mentors change the lives of thousands of Pinellas County students each week. Pinellas County Schools offers a variety of ways for caring adults to have a positive impact as mentors for students from Kindergarten to 12th grade. Research has shown that mentoring helps students improve their grades, attendance, behavior, social interactions with adults, and outlook on school. New mentors must first be a registered volunteer with Pinellas County Schools. Volunteer Registration Form
Mentors will then receive one-hour mentor training once their application and background check have been completed. Mentor Workshop Registration

Lunch Pals is one of our individual mentoring programs through Pinellas County Schools. The Lunch Pal Program is one-on-one mentoring that meets once a week during the students’ lunch break.
