Student Council is an opportunity for students in grades 3 - 5 to practice their leadership skills within our school. There are both a fall session and a spring session of Student Council. Each session is made up of 24 students, with one girl and one boy from each 3rd - 5th grade classroom. These students are nominated by their classroom teacher and peers based on their qualifications of honesty, good leadership skills, personal responsibility, and good behavior.  In addition, Student Council sponsors two fundraisers each school year, with the collected goods being donated to selected charities in our community. Commitments of members of Student Council include attending a meeting after school once a month.
