At Melrose we have a number of different and exciting volunteer opportunities.  Volunteers are making a difference at Melrose helping students develop skills, knowledge, and attitudes which are improving student performance.  You can add to the quality of our scholar’s education. 
    The work of volunteers is a strong part of meeting our goals at Melrose.  You can work individually or with small groups who need academic assistance in math, reading, or science.  You can be a part of the exciting progress of our scholars.  You can volunteer on days and times that are convenient for you.
    So get involved.  Complete a volunteer registration and get started!

    Congratulations to our Melrose "Volunteer of the Year" – Mr. Alfred Williams. Mr. Williams has been a dedicated volunteer throughout the 2016/2017 school year.  He has been here every day directing traffic for student arrival and dismissal.  In addition he is a member of “Men of Yesterday, Today and the Future” and has participated in numerous events.  He is an active mentor.  We appreciate all the hard work and dedication of Mr. Williams.  He volunteered 450 hours this school year! 
    We love Mr. Williams for his support of our school!
