Scooters Coffee is not just your average local coffee shop. While they are known for their exceptional coffee and delicious brews served fresh every day, their impact on the community goes far beyond the coffee cup. Dedicated to making a positive difference, Scooters Coffee plays an active role in supporting local causes and organizations, one cup at a time.

They have generously donated their premium coffee for our monthly staff birthday celebrations, brightening our special days with their delicious brews. In addition, Scooters Coffee has been a key contributor to numerous school events, including providing food and drinks for the 2024 Great American Teach-In and various other school activities throughout the year.

One of their standout initiatives is the Mascot Drink Program, where a portion of the proceeds goes directly to support Bear Creek Elementary. For every Mascot drink sold, Scooters Coffee donates one dollar to help fund programs and resources for our school. Their continued support truly exemplifies their commitment to helping our community thrive, making them a cherished partner in our mission to enrich local education and make a lasting difference.

SunPub: A Local Hospitality Group Supporting the St. Petersburg/Tampa Bay Area

SunPub is a renowned local hospitality group based in the St. Petersburg and Tampa Bay area, home to five incredible restaurants that have become favorites for locals and visitors alike. These establishments include Mac Dinton’s Irish Pub & Restaurant, Sculley’s, Grove Kitchen & Lounge, Mad Beach Cantina, and Caddy's Waterfront Dining.

At the beginning of the school year, SunPub reached out to offer an incredibly generous gesture to our school community. They committed to making a significant monetary donation and also provided monthly luncheons for not only our teachers but for our entire staff as well. This thoughtful contribution has been greatly appreciated by everyone at our school.

Unfortunately, just a month after their initial offer, all Caddy's Waterfront Dining locations are temporarily shut down due to the devastation caused by Hurricanes Halene and Milton in 2024. These hurricanes caused significant damage to all of the Caddy's locations. While their waterfront dining venues are currently closed, SunPub’s other restaurants remain open and continue to provide excellent service to their customers.

If you're looking for a delicious meal from a local business, we highly encourage you to visit any of the remaining operational SunPub locations. They offer a variety of amazing drinks, weekly specials, and family-friendly activities for kids to enjoy. Your support of these businesses is a great way to help our local community thrive during challenging times.

Chick-fil-A at St. Pete Beach: has been a dedicated community partner for many years, supporting local schools and educators. They have generously provided certificates for students who achieve honor roll status and recognition for those on the principal's list. Additionally, they've played an important role in showing appreciation for teachers through their contributions to teacher luncheons and Teacher Appreciation Week events.

While the restaurant was slightly affected by the impact of Hurricanes Halene and Milton in 2024, they have made a full recovery and are back to normal operations. The team is eager to welcome you with warm hospitality, ready to serve you with a smile, as they always have. Astro Skate: Astro Skate has been a source of joy and excitement for the children of Bear Creek Elementary for many years. Not only does Astro Skate offer a fun and safe environment for kids to enjoy, but they also play a pivotal role in supporting our school community. Through their generous fundraising efforts, they help raise funds for the Bear Creek PTA, contributing to various school programs and events that benefit both students and teachers.

In addition to their support of the PTA, Astro Skate goes above and beyond in encouraging our students' achievements. They actively celebrate the hard work and dedication of our students by cheering on those who earn recognition through the “On a Roll” program, Principal’s List, and Citizen of the Month honors. As a way to reward these accomplishments, Astro Skate graciously provides admission passes to children who reach these milestones, further motivating our young learners to strive for excellence. Astro Skate’s ongoing support of Bear Creek Elementary not only strengthens the bond between local businesses and schools but also provides a fun and motivating environment for students to achieve their goals.

Smugglers Cove: Smugglers Cove is a top destination for family fun, offering everything from 18 holes of mini golf to the chance to feed live alligators. A staple on Treasure Island, it’s loved by both locals and visitors alike.

They have been proud sponsors of Bear Creek Elementary, making generous donations to encourage students to excel.
