Welcome to the VPK at Lakeview Fundamental!
We are always excited to welcome new families and share our love of learning and life with the children in our care.
We are in a newly updated building with a dedicated play area south of the Lakeview Fundamental main campus.
How to apply and enroll in VPK:
To attend VPK, all students must have a Certificate of Eligibility (voucher) from the Early Learning Coalition.
Please visit elcpinellas.org to apply for the voucher. Families must have the voucher at the time of enrollment
at school.

Apply for a seat:
Make sure you have a Parent Portal Account. You can create one by visiting focus.pcsb.org.
To apply, visit focus.pcsb.org and click the “Student Reservation System” link on the left side of the navigation pane.
Enroll at your assigned school:
Bring the following documents to your assigned school:
Certificate of Eligibility (voucher)
Birth certificate/proof of child's age
Florida Certificate of Immunization (DH Form 680)
Physical examination certificate signed by a licensed examiner
Proof of Florida residency (two forms of documentation required)
What is a day like at VPK?
8:00-8:20 a.m. Breakfast service is open
8:30 a.m. Start of our learning day
Teaching and learning schedules vary by classroom.

Playground
Large Group Lessons
Small Group Lessons
Play Centers
11:30 a.m. Half-day student dismissal
Lunch
P.E. (30 minutes each day)
Rest
2:30 p.m. End of school day
Breakfast and Lunch
All meals are eaten in the classroom under teacher supervision.
Breakfast is served daily from 8:00-8:20 a.m. at no charge.
Lunch can be ordered on a day by day basis and is delivered hot from Baypoint Elementary School Cafeteria.
Children may also bring a lunchbox.
