Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

  • Dear Sea Turtle Community,

The Parent, Teacher, Student Association (PTSA) has a mission to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. Our mission requires that diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) be central to our work and used in our day-to-day decisions and actions. With all of this in mind, the Sanderlin PTSA has created a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion Committee.

The committee's first step is to reach out to you and find out who we are as a community. We have created a short DEI Survey for staff, teachers, MYP students and families to complete. It could take between 10-30 minutes. We encourage and invite your honest opinion on these issues. It is vital that we hear from as many of you as possible. Everyone's perspective is important.

As an incentive to complete the survey, we will be choosing 4 winners randomly to receive $100 Visa gift cards. Your email will need to be included to enter the prize drawing. Your email will not be connected to your responses and all responses will be kept anonymous.

The survey will close on December 14th.

Thank you so much for your participation. We look forward to hearing from you so that we can plan for a more inclusive community.
