• The process for families who have moved to Pinellas County or have a child transitioning into Pinellas County Schools and need to register their child for the current 2019-2020 school year.

    Initial enrollment for new students for the current 2019-2020 school year will be done electronically through the Student Assignment Office. 

    Parents will not need to physically go to a school nor district office to register at this time.

    • All initial registration will be completed electronically by the Student Assignment Office.
      • Parents can call Student Assignment with questions or to start the process between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm at 727-588-6210.
      • All processes will be electronic. Parents will need to send the following documents by email (studentassignment@pcsb.org) or FAX 727-588-5171.
            o Pinellas County School Registration Form. Link is below.
            o A copy of your child’s birth certificate should also be sent if at all possible.
      • When schools reopen, parents will need to go to the school with the rest of the paperwork and complete the registration process.
      • Families will be told to contact their school for next steps regarding class and/or course specific assignment.
