Center for Gifted Studies
John Hopkins’ Center for Gifted Studies offers an enriching environment with education opportunities for gifted students to develop talent, creativity, and critical thinking skills. Using the arts as a catalyst to engage students, CGS meets the unique academic and socio-emotional needs of gifted learners in rigorous, interdisciplinary courses.
John Hopkins CGS believes in educating the whole child through educational inquiry- based opportunities using gifted instructional strategies and differentiated instruction. John Hopkins promotes engagement and creative production by allowing students to choose an arts focus program in addition to the Advanced Academic, high school credits, elective and enrichment opportunities. Students have choice to develop their personal strengths and interests, explore the arts, and participate in extracurricular activities.
