    Girls on the Run!  For girls in grades 3rd – 5th.  This nation-wide program encourages girls to recognize their individual strengths and celebrate connections with others.  Participants gain a better understanding of the value of teamwork, and how they can have a positive impact on the world. Physical activity is woven in to inspire an appreciation for fitness and healthy habits.  Girls make a meaningful contribution to their community through a team-organized Community Impact Project.  Each season culminates with a Girls on the Run 5k event. This celebratory event provides girls with a sense of accomplishment and instills the value of goal setting at a young age. Crossing the finish line is a defining moment when the girls realize that even the seemingly impossible IS possible!  By the end of the season, these young ladies envision a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams!
