Good evening, Green Devil Families!

Here is your August 26^th weekly update for school events and information:

*Parents, this is just a reminder that the Florida Department of Transportation will be doing some median work on 5^th Avenue North this next week (8/26-8/30).  This work will require them to close down one of the west bound lanes from the interstate overpass to 28^th Street.  An anticipated effect of the lane closure will be increased traffic congestion on 5^th Avenue N.  Please look for some alternate travel routes during this next week to avoid the extra congestion.  We will still have Devil’s Drive open for drop off and pick up but, will be moving cars all the way down 27^th Street to 9^th Avenue to help with keeping the traffic flow.  We appreciate your support as we navigate through this anticipated traffic construction.

Our campus is open from 6:30AM-2:30PM each day.  No student should be dropped off before 6:30AM and all students (unless they are in a school sponsored event and with an adult sponsor) should be on campus after 2:30PM.

PLEASE note, our office hours are 7:00AM to 3:00PM.

*Please note that we will be administering the PM1 (progress monitoring) FAST testing to all 9^th and 10^th grade students on Wednesday, September 11^th.  Students will need their district issued laptops for testing so please help us to remind students to not only bring those to school but, to make sure they are fully charged.

*Parents- our open house will be held on Tuesday, September 17^th starting at 6PM.  Please save the date as we would love to see you all there.

*All students are eligible for FREE breakfast and FREE lunch each and every day.  We do still encourage all families to fill out the free/reduced lunch application if you think you are eligible as this will qualify you for free testing waivers and additional scholarship opportunities.  Please fill out the free and reduced lunch form at:  www.myschoolapps.com
