Good evening, Green Devil Families!

Here is your September 16^th weekly update for school events and information:

*Parents- our open house will be held on Tuesday, September 17^th starting at 6PM.  Please save the date as we would love to see you all there.  Parents should plan to report directly to their child’s 1^st period class.  IB parents should refer to the schedule that their child should have brought home this weekend.

*Our campus is open from 6:30AM-2:30PM each day.  No student should be dropped off before 6:30AM and all students (unless they are in a school sponsored event and with an adult sponsor) should be OFF campus no later than 2:30PM.

Our office hours are 7:00AM to 3:00PM.  If you need to sign your child out early from school, please make sure to do so prior to 1:30 PM.  NO PTLs will be permitted after 1:30, students cannot be released during the last 25 minutes of the day.

*Homecoming dance tickets will go on sale on Monday, September 16^th in room 01-218 before school, during lunch and after school.  The price for the first week is $30.  Ticket price will go up to $35 starting on 9/24 and $40 for the week of the event.  No tickets will be sold at the door.  If your child wants to bring a guest, they must complete a guest form in order to buy the ticket.  Guest forms are available in the front office.  If your child is on the financial obligation list, they must clear that obligation before they can purchase a ticket.  The dance will be held on Saturday, October 5^th at St. Pete HS.

*Homecoming activities night will take place on October 1^st on our field.  In order to play, students must have a physical and school insurance.  Clubs and classes will participate in activities and Powder Puff games this evening.

*Underclass picture day will be on September 17^th.  Order forms were handed out this past week to students through their 1^st period classes.  Underclass retakes will be done on October 22^nd.  If there are any questions please reach out to Ashlie Flanigan, our yearbook advisor at Flanigana@pcsb.org

*Seniors who have not yet had their senior portraits need to sign up ASAP to get those done.  The next on campus roadshow will be on November 6^th, or you can book at appointment at Cady’s Tampa Studio (cady.com) for additional dates and times.  The deadline for senior photos is 12/31/24 to have them appear in the yearbook.  Please reach out to Ashlie Flanigan, our yearbook advisor with any questions Flanigana@pcsb.org

* Join the SPHS PTSA  today!  $15 for parents and $5 for students, become a member and help support our school, teachers and students. https://stpetehigh.givebacks.com/store?limit=21&live=true

* PTSA is always looking for members to help donate their skills.  We are currently looking for parents to join our board, it takes very little time monthly.  Please email use at ptsasphs@gmail.com if you are interested in getting involved or if you have any questions.  Our goal is to have a diverse group of members that can help represent the interests of each of the programs that the PTSA provides.

*Next PTSA General Meeting will be help on November 14, 2024

*All students are eligible for FREE breakfast and FREE lunch each and every day.  We do still encourage all families to fill out the free/reduced lunch application if you think you are eligible as this will qualify you for free testing waivers and additional scholarship opportunities.  Please fill out the free and reduced lunch form at:  www.myschoolapps.com
