Field Trips

  • Field Trips expose students at the Conservatory for the Arts to new experiences that deepen their learning of the Arts, the Arts in connection with other subjects, and the environment. They provide opportunities for students to encounter and explore authentic art, and increase interest, knowledge, and engagement.

Students at the Conservatory for the Arts have experienced visiting Artists in Residence at Sandy Lane as well as touring museums and Performing Arts venues. Each field trip is an extension and enhancement of learning that occurs in the classroom. Outcomes of Field Trips can be cognitive and personally meaningful.

We are honored to be recipients of donations provided by the Pier 60 Sugar Sand Festival. All of our students have the opportunity to go to the Festival to view the sand sculptures.
