Founded in 1898, St. Petersburg High School boasts a rich history and a vibrant presence in the heart of St. Petersburg, Florida. Nestled amidst 7 acres, the school's iconic Spanish Revival architecture, built in 1926, stands as a testament to its storied past. More than just a landmark, St. Pete High, as it's affectionately known, cultivates a diverse and dynamic learning environment for its over 1,700 students.

Special Services & Programs
- The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program is a challenging two-year curriculum, that takes place in the 11th and 12th grades. It leads to a qualification that is widely recognized by the world’s leading universities. The St. Petersburg High Pre-Diploma Program (Pre-DP) prepares 9th- and 10th-grade students for the rigorous IB Diploma Program.
- The Center for Construction Technologies is a program that gives students in grades nine through twelve the opportunity to learn a construction trade while in high school. The program is designed for students to earn both a high school diploma and industry certifications at the same time.
- Air Force ROTC students learn the principles of leadership in the classroom and apply these principles into practice outside of the classroom through hands-on management experience and leadership-building exercises.
- 3DE brings real-world connectivity into the everyday academic experience to increase student engagement, strengthen comprehension, build critical thinking, and accelerate academic performance.
