How many items may I check out?
PreK and Kindergarten students may check out 1 book at a time. 1st - 5th grade students may check out 2 books at a time.
How long may I keep library books?
You may keep books for two weeks.
What if a book is late?
In elementary school, there are no charges for overdue books. Overdue notices will be sent home several times throughout the year. No other books may be checked out until overdue books are returned.
What happens if I lose library materials?
You are responsible for the replacement cost of all materials checked out to your name. Payments are only accepted in cash and must be exact, change will not be provided.
What if a book I return is damaged?
You are responsible for any damage to books you check out. Students are reminded to check books carefully before taking them from the library and to let Ms. Robertson know of any damage.
Please return damaged books to Ms. Robertson as soon as possible. Please do not try to repair a book yourself.
If a damaged book can be repaired, a small fine may be charged.
If the damage is significant, you may be asked to pay the replacement cost of the book.
