SHMS Parent Teacher Student Association is part of the National & Florida PTA. We aide in the engagement and empowerment of families and the community to advocate for all children in their education. We will partner with school administration and teachers to organize events that will fit within the guidelines set by the district to maintain safety for all. All these initiatives & YOU help build our Seahawk “Community”. None of this would be possible without PTA members, volunteers, & donations. Please join us in making the 2022/2023 school year the best yet!
The overall purpose of PTA is to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
SHMS PTSA 2022-2023 programs include an Leading Edge fundraiser and supporting fundraisers throughout the year that provide for Pizza Patrol & Ice Cream Parties, Honor Roll & Principal List Recognition, Science Lab Support, 8th Grade Celebration, Fall and Spring Dances, Staff & Volunteer Appreciation Events, Successful Seahawk Breakfasts, Club Trophies and Awards and more.
You are welcome to pay online at Membership Form 22/23 or fill out the form and submit payment and form in the PTSA box in the front office of SHMS.
Your $10.00 per person annual membership helps to partially fund many of the activities here at SHMS.

General meetings are announced and scheduled throughout the year. Parents are encouraged to attend all PTSA General Meetings. We are always looking for new parents to join as 8th Grade parents move on to the high school PTSA with their children. All general PTSA meetings are held in the library or cafeteria.
