Book Club

     Our HLE Book Club focuses on the joy of reading through shared reading, discussions, and activities. Students will gain a deeper understanding of character development, story plots, and be able to share their own thoughts and perspectives about the characters and stories within the group.  We learn to read in order to learn about the world around us, but reading can also be purely for relaxation, fun, and imagination.

     Currently, we are reading Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, by Roald Dahl.  The next selection will be Charlotte's Web, by E.B. White.
