I am excited for another great year at Walsingham Elementary. I began teaching in 2000 and served as an Assistant Principal until 2016.  I could not see myself doing anything more rewarding than working with children. As a mom, I truly believe it takes a village to raise a child. Parents, teachers, support staff, community, and administration all play an important role in helping our students meet and exceed expectations. At Walsingham I am proud to be a part of a school that strives to provide our Wildcats with rigorous and relevant learning experiences needed to be prepared for middle school and beyond.

I look forward to getting to know your child and working with you to support his/her elementary experience.

    Assistant Principal

Hello Wildcat families! My name is Meghan Massie, and I am excited to introduce myself as the new Assistant Principal of Walsingham Elementary. I am a proud product of Pinellas County schools. I graduated from St. Petersburg College with my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a graduate degree in educational leadership from the University of South Florida, St. Pete. Throughout my career in education as a classroom teacher, ESOL coordinator and curriculum specialist, I have had the opportunity to witness firsthand the power of learning.

This school year, I am eager to develop positive relationships and believe that a strong partnership between parents, scholars and educators is essential to help our Wildcats reach new heights. I am dedicated to enhancing the student experience and helping all scholars discover their own love of learning and school.

I welcome the opportunity to meet you and look forward to the growth of our Wildcat scholars!
