Student Council

Student Council consists of two class representatives for each 3rd, 4th and 5th grade class.  These students will meet in Mrs. Vinyard's classroom.  Student Council's purpose is to introduce students to a simplified student government structure, to promote school spirit and to support our community.  We will do this through programs such as a Fall community  canned food drive, holiday spirit dress, celebrate/promote kindness at BCE, candygrams for Valentine’s Day and plans for a spring project with an assisted living facility.  Student officers facilitate the meetings and the entire council grows in leadership skills as well as understanding teamwork.
