Safety Harbor Middle School National Junior Honor Society
The Safety Harbor Middle School chapter of NJHS considers scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship when choosing new members. Students selected to join the National Junior Honor Society at SHMS exhibit exemplary behavior and academic excellence. NJHS members complete service projects both as individuals and with their chapter, building character, citizenship, leadership, community involvement, and friendships along the way.
National Junior Honor Society applications are available on the school website under the academics tab and accepted October 20th – November 4th. Students in 8th grade who have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above are eligible to apply. Students that are not sure if they are eligible can find out by checking with
