6th Grade House
Sixth grade is a pivotal point in the lives of youth. During this period of time, students are autonomous about their goals and values. It is also a time when they move from class to class and teacher to teacher to function within a community of learners. They function within teams and form relationships that may support the mission of becoming "lifelong learners". The sixth grade learning community offers exposure to an environment where students can achieve academic success and find appreciation for their differences.
Parents are encouraged to become involved in the educational interests and progress of our students. Conferences are arranged by contacting the grade level office via the school's main phone number: 727-893-1819. Attendance at school functions, participation in the Parent, Teacher and Student Association, volunteering at school events and chaperoning field trips are just a few of the ways that parents collaborate with the school. Our office suite is located near the front of the school in A Wing.
Our 6th grade Guidance Counselor is Ms. Richardson. Email is RICHARDSOND@pcsb.org
