Program "Shadow Days" for *ALL* Potential Students
Prospective students wishing to shadow must e-mail instructor
directly at STOLTZD@pcsb.org to confirm the
date/time to shadow the program. Shadowing will take place on
Wednesdays (Nails Specialty classroom, 7:30 am to 1:00 pm.)
and times will be set to accommodate each individual.

Mission: The mission of this program is to prepare students for employment as Florida registered manicurists and pedicurists.Manicure and Pedicure Specialist – Course CSP0016 (180 hours): The content includes, but is not limited to, communication, leadership, human relations and employability skills; safe and efficient work practices; Florida cosmetology law and rules; acquisition of knowledge of the nails specialist and the related chemistry; bacteriology, anatomy and physiology; and development of skills in performing the techniques required in the practice of nails specialist occupations.
Distance Education: Not available at this time
Class hours are 7:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Industry Certification(s): Program graduates are eligible to apply for a Florida Nail Specialist Registration
Minimum Satisfactory Academic Progress Requirement: 75%
Minimum Attendance Requirement: 70%
Basic Skills Entrance/Exit Requirements: Required basic skills grade levels are not applicable.
