    Good Evening Highlanders!

This is Mr. Vasallo, principal of Dunedin Highland Middle School with my weekly update.

February 2nd is report card day.  If your student is a MyPCSOnline student, please make sure your email address in Portal is up to date, as report cards will be emailed home.

February 9th is picture re-take day and picture day for online students. If your face-to-face student needs re-takes, please send them to school with the picture package you received so they can return it.  If you have an online student and would like to have them take a picture for the yearbook, please sign up for an appointment on the sign-up genius link:

2020-2021 Yearbooks are on sale now!  You can purchase them online at the online payment link on our website: https://pcsb.revtrak.net/Middle-Schools/dunedin-highland-middle-/dunedin-ms-yearbook-sales/

If your child rides a bus to school each day, you can keep updated on any issues by signing up for Bus Bulletin. Bus Bulletin will notify you by text, phone call or email if:

    • A bus is late.
    • A route has changed.
    • There has been an accident.

If your child rides a bus, please take advantage of this free service. Sign-up by going to http://busbulletin.com/parents/

The bus bulletin link can also be found on the district website. Just click on the Transportation button.

We want to make sure our face-to-face students are bringing their devices back and forth to school each day.  Face-to-face classes are using Canvas and students need to be able to access Canvas at school.  Students also need to bring their devices home in case there is a need to quarantine students.

We are continuing our laptop distribution for face-to-face students this week in 7th period.  In order for your student to receive a laptop, your student must have:

If you have not completed the form or if your student needs to return their device, please have them bring the form and/or device to their first period teacher so that we can have their laptop ready to be delivered to their 7th period class.

For MyPCSOnline families, who wish to pickup their child’s laptop, please contact your student’s grade level office to set up an appointment:

For MyPCSOnline Families:  if your MyPCSOnline student has a substitute teacher for a class there will not be a Live Lesson in Canvas.  If your MyPCSOnline student has a sub, the teacher will post an announcement in the course that will have the assignment for the day and an attendance link so your student is marked present.
