Good Evening Highlanders!
This is Mr. Vasallo, principal of Dunedin Highland Middle School with my weekly update.
Thank you to all of the families that applied to change learning options. We spent last week evaluating our class sizes and staff will be reaching out all through Friday of this week about your selection.
I also want parents to know that the delivery of student laptops should be scheduled soon. We are still asking our MyPCSOnline families, to save the date for Saturday October 24th and Monday October 26th as potential distribution dates. I still do not have an official delivery date, but we are holding these dates in hopes that we receive our delivery this week. More specific information will follow once I am able to confirm our delivery date. In the meantime, if you want to be ready to pick up a laptop when they arrive, we encourage you to fill out the Laptop parentresponsform DHMS.pdf available on our website. After signing it, please email it to our Technology Specialist, Mrs. Rossell at firstname.lastname@example.org
The Pinellas County Schools Referendum is up for renewal. The Referendum boosts reading, art and music programs, provides up-to-date technology and textbooks, and helps recruit and retain quality teachers. Voters have supported the Referendum every four years since its initial approval in 2004. An independent citizens committee oversees Referendum spending to ensure money is spent as voters intended. Every penny of the funding benefits Pinellas teachers and students. For more information, please visit www.pcsb.org/referendum .
DHMS PTA wants your opinion as we participate in the National PTA School of Excellence Program to enrich the well-being of all students. Please help us by taking this 5 to 10-minute anonymous survey on your experiences at our school by noon on October 30. Thank you! https://forms.gle/wcSgHL5VM7A4V8e37

If your MyPCSOnline student has a sub, the teacher will post an announcement in the course that will have the assignment for the day and an attendance link so your student is marked present.
