Mrs. Sarah Painter
Dear Families,
It is my honor to continue serving the Belcher community as your Assistant Principal. After supporting the school in an interim capacity from December 2024 through June 2025, I am thrilled to step into this role permanently and help lead our Bobcats into another joyful and successful school year.
I began my career in Pinellas County Schools in 2003 after graduating from the University of South Florida. Since then, I’ve remained committed to building strong relationships, fostering a culture of collaboration, and ensuring all students feel seen, supported, and capable of success. I hold a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Florida and a Specialist’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Florida State University. In 2022, I was honored to be named Florida’s Teacher of the Year by the Florida Department of Education.
I believe that joy, belonging, and high expectations can—and should—coexist in every classroom and across our campus. I look forward to continuing this important work together with our staff, students, and families.
With joy,
Sarah Painter
