If you stop off at each of the links below in the order that they appear, you will get to see what the uniforms look like and how they are to be set up and worn.  There is also a link to a complete version of CAPR 39-1 with page number directions to the relevant parts of the regulation for this uniform.

Next you will see links for each of the items required for the uniform listed from head to toe.  There are differences in the male versus female versions of this uniform for most parts of the uniform.  Please make sure you are ordering the correct uniform in order to comply with CAPR 39-1.

This uniform is typically referred to as the "Air Force Blues Uniform"

Pages 48 through 50 of CAPR 39-1 explain the exact measurements for the placement of all items and proper wear for the male Class B uniform.  Pages 52 through 54 explain the exact measurements for the placement of all items and proper wear for the female Class B uniform.

Per CAPR 39-1 (p.48) Male Cadets are required to wear a V-neck or Athletic style undershirt with the Class B Dress Shirt.  (p.52) States that For Female Cadets a V-neck or Athletic style undershirt is optional.

We found the grade insignia available for the same price on a separate site that claims to have free shipping, however, we have no experience at this point with the company.  I have included the link for the Airman Insignia at the bottom of these links.  You can check it out at your own risk.

Civil Air Patrol Name Plate: Cadet

The following insignia, ribbon, and mounting bar are the same as what you may have already ordered prior to your Cadet's first promotion.  You do not need to purchase another one if you already have one.

Civil Air Patrol Uniform: Trouser - male

A dark blue Airforce elastic dress belt must be worn with the slacks and trousers.  The belt must have a mirror tip and buckle in silver.  Check CAPR 39-1 section 4 to ensure that you are getting the correct belt.  We found the belt and buckle on a separate web site, however we have no experience with this company.  They do claim to have no shipping charges within the U.S. Below is the link we found for that belt.

Patent Leather Dress Shoes - Male/Unisex

Black socks should be worn in accordance with CAPR 39-1 section 6.4 starting on page 97.  The shoes are also described in detail in that same section.  There are some other footware variations available for female Cadets, however, again, make sure that anything you purchase for Civil Air Patrol matches 39-1.
