Girls on the Run! For girls in grades 3-5
This nation-wide program encourages girls to recognize their individual strengths and celebrate connections with others. Participants gain a better understanding of the value of teamwork, and how they can have a positive impact on the world. Physical activity is woven in to inspire an appreciation for fitness and healthy habits. Girls make a meaningful contribution to their community through a team-organized Community Impact Project. Each season culminates with the Girls on the Run 5k event. This celebratory event provides girls with a sense of accomplishment and instills the value of goal-setting at a young age. Crossing the finish line is a defining moment when the girls realize that even the seemingly impossible IS possible! By the end of the season, these young ladies envision a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams!
The season starts the week of September 29th. Practice will be Mondays and Thursdays, starting at 3:15 until 4:45 PM. The season is 8 weeks long and ends with a celebratory 5K at Al Lopez Park on December 6th, 2025. There are only 15 spots available on the team, so please enroll ASAP to secure your spot.
