Mrs. Kim Moran
Hello, my name is Kimberly Moran and I am proud to be a part of such a phenomenal school family here at Tarpon Fundamental. I graduated from the Florida State University. TSFES has been my home for 27 years and I am so excited to be teaching 4th grade again this year! When my children were little I became a TSFES parent, volunteer, and substitute teacher. Those kids are now successful adults living in the Tampa Bay area. I enjoy working with students as they write engaging essays, read more complex text, and engage in problem solving across all curriculum areas. Seeing them grasp new concepts and then applying it brings immense joy. I enjoy getting to know each student and creating a relationship that enables them to trust and want to work hard. My goal is to work with parents to instill a love of learning and a heart for others that will equip them for the journey ahead.
I live with my husband in Palm Harbor where we have lived for 30 years. I have two amazing adult children who I enjoy spending time with. I enjoy spending time with friends, shopping, traveling and loving on our two dogs.

Mrs. Lexa Shontz
My name is Lexa Shontz, and I am excited to be teaching third grade at Tarpon Fundamental this year. After my first career in marketing and communications, I discovered my true passion for education when I became a parent volunteer at Tarpon Fundamental years ago. I have taught 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades and was an ESE Associate prior to becoming a teacher. My goal is to foster an engaging learning environment and build a caring classroom community in which children feel safe, challenged, and nurtured to grow to their full potential.
I live with my husband in my hometown of Tarpon Springs and have three grown children, all of whom received an excellent educational foundation right here at Tarpon Fundamental. I'm an avid reader and walker (though not at the same time, of course! 🙂) and I never get tired of watching a sunset at the beach!
