Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Michele Morris

My name is Michele Morris and I am proud to call Tarpon Springs Fundamental Elementary my second home, for the last 23 years. I graduated from the University of South Florida, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education.  I taught grades 3-5 for 15 years before earning my certification in Library Media.  I believe every child has the right to reach their full potential and it is my responsibility to help them achieve that goal.

This will be my eleventh year as the Library Media Technology Specialist. I have always had a passion for the integration of technology within the curriculum. As the media specialist, I look forward to working with all children with the utilization of technology and research skills. In addition, helping teachers to integrate technology within their lessons to reach all children.  The school library has taken on a new role in the education of children. It is now a place for students to explore and create utilizing time in MakerSpaces. I look forward to furthering student's interests and knowledge by providing activities and tools to engage in their learning.

I currently live in Oldsmar with my husband.  I have a daughter, Kelsey, who completed her Masters degree in Themed Environment Integration with the University of Florida and now lives in Orlando.  We enjoy spending time together with friends and family, traveling to new places and cheering on the Gators!
