Hello, I'm Meghan Santagata, and I will be teaching Gifted and Talent Development this year.  This year marks my 10th year of teaching, and I'm excited to make it my best year yet! 

I grew up in Connecticut but have called Florida home for the past nine years. I am a graduate of Southern Connecticut State University, and I have a master's degree in elementary education and a bachelor's degree in English with a minor in psychology.   I obtained my Gifted endorsement in 2017 and my ESOL endorsement in 2021.  I have also attended several Gifted conferences.  I believe you should never stop learning, and I always strive to grow as an educator.    Our theme in Gifted this year is to have a Growth Mindset. So, get ready to transform your thinking.

When I'm not at school,  I enjoy being outside, exercising, cooking and reading.   I also enjoy spending time with my husband and our two cats,  Zoey and Ben.
