My name is Brandy Lathan, and I’d like to welcome you to my kindergarten family! It is my privilege to come to school every day, guiding your children as they grow and change into independent, life-long learners. It is my hope to provide a safe, nurturing learning environment for each child in my class where we can explore, create and learn together.

Just a bit about me… I received my bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Geneseo, and my master’s degree from the Ohio State University. I am certified in Primary Education (pre–K through grade 3), Special Education, Reading and ESOL.  I have spent most of my teaching career in kindergarten. 

I am a huge college football fan!  My favorite team being THE Ohio State Buckeyes, of course! 

I am most proud of being a Mom to my three children (and my little dog, Spike) who are all grown and starting families of their own.  We love to travel as a family, or just hang out at home or the beach together.
