The Curtis Fundamental library media program follows guidelines established by the American Library Association in the Standards for School Library Media Programs.  These include:

·     Providing intellectual and physical access to information.

·     Providing resources and activities that contribute to lifelong learning.

·     Providing resources that represent a diversity of social and cultural perspectives, and accommodate a wide range of differences.

For the most current information about this year’s library programs, as well as login information to district resources, go to our Library Media Moodle page.  You will need to log in with your district username and password.  The enrollment key is ‘media’.

 

Curtis library also promotes a school wide culture of reading through story time, yearly author visits, reading challenges, book fairs, and collaborations with the Dunedin Public Library.
