Degrees and Certifications:
Hi, I am Linda Hilterbrandt. I was born in Wilmington, Ohio and graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a BA in art education in 1992. My husband and I moved to Florida later that year and I began teaching art in Pinellas County in 1993. I have taught at both the middle school and elementary levels as well as some classes at the Dunedin Fine Art Center. I had the opportunity to help write the art curriculum in Pinellas County and have also worked with the Ringling Museum in that capacity. I enjoy attending the Florida state art educator’s conference every year to keep up with current trends in art education and have been a presenter many times myself.
I love teaching art to children and watching them grow into creative and confident young people. It is my desire to provide a quality art program that celebrates the accomplishments of every student!
I live in Tarpon Springs with my husband and three children ages 14, 13 and 10. We are a busy family of musicians and athletes but there is nothing I would rather do than be a mom! I enjoy spending time at the beach, swimming, reading, any DIY projects, painting, and traveling with my family.
