Battle of the Books
Students in grades 3 through 5 are encouraged to read a collection of books from the Sunshine State Young Readers Award Program (SSYRA). Qualifying students compete in a high-stakes rivoting game known as the Battle of the Books.

Botany Club
Botany Club members (4th & 5th graders) learn how to start, sustain, maintain, and harvest a garden! We meet once a week to explore the connections between plants and their ecosystem. Our goal is to share our knowledge with others in our school community. Watch us grow!

Boys Read
Boys Read is an initiative designed to encourage male readers in grades 3-5 to engage with literacy in a fun and collaborative way. Club members participate in their own Battle of the Books competition.

Students in grades 4 and 5 have an opportunity to participate in choral ensembles and percussion groups.

Morning News Show
Our morning announcements are produced by our 5th grade students. These students learn valuable lessons in operating sophisticated equipment including a tricaster, telepromter and soundboard!

PMAC
PMAC (Principal's Multicultural Advisory Committee) is made up of 4th and 5th grade students that are interested in becoming more aware of the world around us and how to share what they learn. We meet monthly to collaborate on sharing our awareness schoolwide.

Safety Patrol
Students in grade 5 perform a variety of duties as members of the AAA School Safety Patrol. They strive to keep our community safe, provide assistance in classrooms and in the media center. They stand out as role models and leaders on our campus.

SAVE Promise Club
SAVE (Students Against Violence Everywhere) Promise Club is made up of 3rd - 5th graders who spread kindness and show leadership, creativity, and a passion for protecting their friends, schools, and communities from violence BEFORE it happens. We meet twice a month and are responsible for school initiatives like Start with Hello, Say Something, and National Youth Violence Prevention Week.

STEM Explorers
Students in grades Kindergarten through 5 learn about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math in an engaging atmosphere. Students participate in a variety of inquiry-based challenges and learn about different career opportunities in the STEM fields.
