Hello! My name is Elissa Swick, and I am teaching 3^rd grade and am entering my fourth year at the wonderful Perkins Elementary. I have been teaching in Pinellas County Schools for 8 years and prior to that taught at a family-owned preschool for 3 years, so this will be my 12^th year as an educator.

I was born and raised in Florida and love the sunshine state! I graduated from the University of Florida with my degree in Elementary Education in 2009. Go Gators! 

When I am not teaching, you can find me going on adventures with my dog Ducky, spending quality time with friends, creating stained glass artwork, and hula hooping.
