Bay Point Elementary Parent-Teacher Association (PTA)
The Parent-Teacher Association at BPE plans several family events and programs throughout the year where teachers and parents come together to provide a fun evening for the children. These include an ice cream social, fall festival, family campfire night, safety programs, legislative news, and BPE uniform T-shirt sales. More importantly our PTA consists of wonderful parents who are dedicated to making Bay Point Elementary a powerful learning community for our children.
PTA volunteers manage the Math Superstars and Reflections Art programs. To raise money to support teachers and programs the PTA hosts fundraisers and has sold engraved pavers for the brick walkway in the Woolums Butterfly Garden. The PTA has provided agenda books to each of our students, acquired computers, and assisted with field trips. They recognize our teachers and staff during Teacher Appreciation Week.
General meetings are held throughout the year. Parents are strongly encouraged to join and participate in its activities.
