Bay Point Elementary School Advisory Council (SAC)
The School Advisory Council (SAC) is made up of administrators, teachers, staff, businesses and parents who share an interest in improving all aspects of learning at Bay Point. The main function of SAC is to assist the school with development and evaluation of our School Improvement Plan (SIP).
The SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PLAN (SIP): This plan determines the course your child's education will take in the coming years. Issues tackled in the past include reviewing state testing, requiring school uniforms, addressing state and local budget concerns, and making program adjustments. SAC aligns the school's actions and plans with the District’s strategic directions of Higher Student Achievement, Safe Learning Environment, and Effective and Efficient Operations. A copy of the SIP, school report and SAC minutes are available in the school office.
