• Good evening incoming IB families,

This is Mr. Vasallo, IB Coordinator at Largo High School with some important updates for our incoming 9th graders in the IB program.

We look forward to seeing many of our new students at IB Camp on Tuesday June 5th and 6th.  For the students who are unable to attend, please visit our Incoming 9th Grade Info page after June 6th for information about summer assignments: https://www.pcsb.org/Page/32727

We are no longer requiring a Math Diagnostic.  In its place, we have a Math Summer Assignment that will be posted on the Incoming 9th Grade page after June 6th.

Parents: The IB Partners, our IB parent group, would like to welcome you with an informal Coffee Talk in the school Auditorium on Tuesday, June 5th at 9am Coffee Talks Flyers - Made with PosterMyWall.jpg .   They would love to connect with our new families and be available to answer questions you have about the transition to Largo IB! This is an optional event.

If your student is completing the Geometry course in FLVS this summer to accelerate their math course progression, please know that students must complete all coursework in FLVS prior to the first day of school in order to be enrolled in Algebra 2 for Fall Classes.

Pinellas County Schools has changed the way our students are assigned to busses starting next year.  All families will now have to request a bus to receive it. Ridership Campaign Flyer_Updated 4-17 (1).png

I am including a step-by-step guide Step by Step Ridership Instructions.pdf  for our families on how to sign up.  Families will need to fill this out for EACH child they have that will need a bus.  If you have questions, you can review this FAQ document here: Ridership Campaign FAQ.pdf  This process is new for all of us.  If we don’t have the answer to your question, we will work to make sure we get the answer.

    Have a great summer!
