Indoor Percussion

Indoor Percussion is a sport in which a show is created for a battery and a front ensemble. That show is then rehearsed and performed in competition inside gymnasiums and arenas throughout the state and beyond. Having only been in existence for eight years, they are a relatively young group - yet the Seminole Indoor Percussion Ensemble has been a competitive force in both the FFCC and WGI circuits, right from the start.  They have travelled from Daytona Beach for FFCC Circuit Championships, to Dayton, Ohio for WGI World Championships - and almost everywhere in between. They have placed 2nd in the state for the past two seasons, and claimed a 5th place finish at World Championships in 2012.

Led by a renowned staff of percussionists, SIPE rehearses at least two nights per week, and most Saturdays will be comprised of either rehearsals or competitions. The dedication and perseverence that students put into perfecting the show is what makes the ensemble a powerful and respected part of the Seminole Warhawk Band Program.

There are many fundraising opportunities available to offset the financial burden - please see Fair Share and Fundraising under the Booster link in the main menu for more information. There are also many volunteers needed with opportunities to chaperone, drive, and assist in numerous other ways during SIPE Season.
