Articulation Agreements

  • Articulation is a process for receiving course credit for schoolwork already completed.  Agreements are formally made between schools.  These agreements define the time limits and amount of credit for which courses.

The advantage of an articulation agreement is certain coursework would not need to be repeated.  It matches coursework between schools, assisting students to make a smooth transition from one institution to another by minimizing duplication of coursework.  This can be viewed as "Free College Credit".

Requirements can vary with each institution.  They are updated often, so check with the college of your choice as to their process.

PTC - Clearwater programs can have local and/or statewide articulation agreement(s), which are listed on each program page.
