This Thursday, October 24, there will be an informational meeting for any student interested in trying out for the 2024-25 OMS Basketball Teams.  It is strongly recommended that a parent accompanies the student so that we are sure you receive the paperwork needed before tryouts begin.  The meeting will take place in the gym beginning at 5:00pm and should not last longer than 45 minutes.  During the meeting, you will get a list of the requirements to try out for the team, expectations from administration and Pinellas County Schools Athletic Department, and have a chance to ask questions to the coaches and administration.  On tryout day, students will not be allowed to try out unless they have all required paperwork completed before coming to try outs.  If you have already turned in all paperwork for volleyball, your student is good to go, and you do not need to attend this meeting.  

Before tryouts, all students need a current school physical, a school participation form, and school insurance.

Students can go to their own doctors or to walk-in clinics for physicals.  This is not the FHSAA form, it is just a regular physical form.
