Ryan James Monroe

Ryan James Monroe graduated from the Pinellas County Center for the Arts @ Gibbs High School on June 8, 2012. He attended Perkins Elementary from 1999 to 2005, Kindergarten through fifth grade, which gave him the inspiration to move forward with theater at John Hopkins Middle School. From JHOP, Ryan auditioned and was accepted into Pinellas County Center for the Arts aka PCCA as a musical theater major. Ryan’s performance credits include Ragtime the Musical, Seussical the Musical, FAME!, Urinetown the Musical, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Children of Eden, Macbeth, and The Phantom of the Opera in which he played the role of The Phantom in May of 2012 at PCCA.
Ryan is also a passionate director. His directing credits include The Laramie Project and The Importance of Being Earnest. He will be attending college in the Fall of 2012 where he will major in Musical Theater and/or Arts Administration. Ryan would like to thank all of his teachers at Perkins, JHOP, PCCA and Oklahoma City University (Ryan attended a musical theater intensive at OCU for three summers where he gained unbelievable knowledge) for his success and his intense passion for the arts.Finally, he would like to thank his friends and family for their consistent support in all of his endeavors.
