Molly Claire Crosby

Molly Claire Crosby, class of 2013, is an instrumental music major at Pinellas County Center for the Arts (PCCA) at Gibbs High School, where she is currently orchestra concertmaster. Molly entered Perkins in the year 2000, where she began study of violin under Steve Vutsinis, Sharon Greco and Ruth Klukoff. Molly has continued study of violin under Ruth Klukoff since 2001.
At Perkins, Molly also focused in dance under Rebecca Hobbs. She went on to John Hopkins Middle School Center for the Arts studying classical ballet under Mervet Elnabarawi. At PCCA, Molly studies orchestra, music theory, music history, conducting and choral music. Molly has taken summer intensives at Marrowstone Music Festival at Western Washington University,Orchestra Camp at Furman University, Mike Block Alternative Strings Camps, and Suzuki Institutes of Atlanta and Seattle.
Molly currently plays in Pinellas Youth Symphony under Dr. Susan Robinson and the Serenade String Orchestra under Dr. Lei Lui. After high school, Molly hopes to attend college as a performance major.
