Dance

  • As part of the John Hopkins Center for the Arts, the Dance Program gives students the opportunity to explore multiple styles—including modern, ballet, jazz, and hip hop—while also studying dance history, kinesiology, anatomy, and choreography. With two fully equipped dance studios, separate locker rooms, and a dedicated theatre studio, our dancers have the space and support to grow as artists and performers. Dancers of all levels are welcome in the program, whether they come with years of training or are stepping into the studio for the first time.

Under the direction of the talented Mrs. Erin Cardinal, students participate in numerous performances throughout the year and enjoy enriching experiences through workshops and events beyond the classroom. As Mrs. Cardinal shares, the most rewarding part of the program is seeing students develop lifelong skills—creative thinking, collaboration, and confidence—that extend far beyond the studio.
