Ms. Chambers has been teaching orchestra at Hopkins Middle School since 2012 and has been teaching strings in Pinellas County since 2009. She earned her Associate of Arts in Music at Hillsborough Community College and then graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Music Education at University of South Florida. Ms. Chambers is Level 1 Certified in TI:ME (Technology Integration for Music Educators). Her primary instrument is violin and she has studied it for 17 years with both Valerie Adams of The Florida orchestra and Dr. Carolyn Stuart, Professor of Violin studies at USF.
Ms. Chambers main focus is teaching her students and is a guest clinician and gigging musician in her spare time. Her most notable gig is being a recording studio Violinist for Carl Fischer Publications since 2010 and she will be the guest clinician for this year's Elementary all county strings ensemble.
Ms. Chambers is also a member of Nafme (National Association for Music Educators), FMEA (Florida Music Educators Association), FOA (Florida Orchestra Association), and is on the board as the strings representative for PCMEA (Pinellas County Music Educators Association) and is the all county coordinator for middle school in Pinellas County.
