Student Council consists of two representatives from each 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade classroom. These students are selected by their teachers and classmates to represent our school. They attend Student Council meetings quarterly. During these meetings we discuss the upcoming Student Council sponsored events. The representatives then bring this information back to their classroom and to a K-2 primary classroom. Student Council sponsors several community service projects: a bi-annual food drive to benefit Dunedin Cares, a local food pantry in our community, a personal care drive for Dunedin Cares, a vase drive for Random Acts of Flowers, and a clothes collection for Clothes to Kids. Garrison-Jones has been recognized as the top school donor at Dunedin Cares for several years in a row. Student Council also sponsors school spirit days and participates in Random Acts of Kindness. Student Council is sponsored by Mrs. Gould.
