What is a School Advisory Council?
The School Advisory Council (SAC) is a team of people from the community who come together to discuss the challenges and opportunities presented to the school in an effort to create a smoother, better environment for our students. Our SAC committee is comprised of parents, teachers, administrators and other parties interested in the betterment of our school. We assist in the preparation and evaluation of the results of the school improvement plan (SIP), discuss hot topics such as Common Core and go over upcoming school events.
If you are interested in a behind the scenes look at what happens at your child’s school, please join us every first Wednesday of the month from 5:00 to 6:00pm in the Media Center (library).
