  • District Application Window- 1/8/20-1/17/20, 5:00 PM

All incoming kindergarten students and outgoing 5th graders who want to attend a choice school must apply.

If you have an incoming kindergarten student, you must apply even if you have a sibling at Jamerson. To claim “sibling priority” the sibling (cousins may not claim sibling priority) must attend Jamerson next year and live in the same household. You will need their student ID to apply, you can get this from the office.

5th Graders wanting to attend our feeder schools: Bay Point or Azalea Middle, must choose either as the first choice to receive priority.

If you need help during this process, please contact the office.

  • Our very own art teacher, Mrs. Irmis, presented in Ponte Vedra Beach in November at the Florida Art Education Association conference. Her 90-minute embroidery workshop was engaging and interactive. She continues to advocate for quality visual art education in our community, along with being an amazing art teacher to our scholars here at Jamerson!

  • Jamerson’s 180 Days of Kindness

We believe that our world needs A LOT more kindness!  We are challenging the scholars, staff, parents and families to 180 days of kindness.  There are 180 days of school each year and we are challenging you to be kind each and every day.  Each day you will learn about a new way to be kind, you will learn about different customs from around the world, and/or you will learn something new each day about how to be kind.  How to be kind to yourself, how to be kind to others, even how to be kind to our world.  We hope that you take us up on our challenge and that by the end of our 180 days together this school and community will be the kindest ever!  Some days it may be easy, some days could be a bit more challenging, but either way, it is so worth it-love and kindness need to win!

Visit our "180 Days of Kindness" shortcut on our homepage under "Site Shortcuts" for this week's kindness challenge!!!

  • Congratulations to our fabulous music teacher Mrs. Hill for being selected to receive the Ray Liem Award at this year's Sun 'n Fun International Fly-In & Expo Aerospace Educators' Workshop held on April 6. Ray Liem was an excellent aviation educator who established this workshop in 1988. This award is given annually to recognize an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to aviation education.

Mrs. Hill incorporates her love of space into her music instruction. She not only integrates sounds and sights of our solar system into her lessons, but also passes on her enthusiasm for space to her students. Through engineering, she finds pathways to make these connections effortlessly, combining her passions of music and space. In the end, her students are the ones who reap the rewards!
