  • Bay News 9 highlights educators who make a difference in their A+ Teacher segment! Each Tuesday morning, Spectrum Bay News 9 and Al Ruechel will feature an A+ Teacher who is inspiring and leading students across the Bay Area. Students or their parents can nominate a teacher of their choice. If you know of a teacher who deserves to be recognized (and would not shy away from news coverage), encourage your school community to nominate them. Nominations can be submitted by email at teachers@charter.com. Parents and students should send contact information and a short explanation of why their educator is an A+ Teacher. • Joe Hill's robotics team won the Design Award for the region!!! His journey began in kindergarten, with the design challenges, Expos, and creation centers here at Jamerson. He developed a fierce love of construction, deconstruction, and design. Engaging, hands on lessons, high standards, cooperative and inclusive learning groups, teacher-driven innovations, and engineering challenges all helped him on his journey- plus his mom is pretty great too!!!
