Lunch & Breakfast

Breakfast and Lunch at Tech HS

Breakfast is served at no cost to all students in our cafeteria starting at 7:00 a.m.

Tech High School has two lunch times so we can properly feed all our students.  Lunch times are determined by the classroom location of the student's 5th period class.

  • Free/Reduced Lunch  Apply now for your child.  The process is electronic and provides quick results. My School Apps Website: www.myschoolapps.com   My school online apps are in English and Spanish.
  • My School Bucks is a service Pinellas County Schools uses that enables parents to post money into their child's school account, which gets debited with each purchase.  Using this app, you will never have to send your child out with cash or run to school because your child needs money for lunch.  Real-time deposits and low balance alerts make life easy.  For students who receive free or reduced-price lunch, parents can put money in the account for the extras that are not covered - like flavored water, cookies, baked chips or ice cream.  Flyer: My School Bucks.pdf  Link:  www.MySchoolBucks.com
  • Refrigeration or Microwave Use  We are unable to provide students with refrigeration or microwave use.  If you plan on making your child's lunch, please consider purchasing insulated bags and reusable ice packs.  Please WRITE YOUR CHILD'S FULL NAME on non-disposable bags so we can re-connect lost items with the owner.
  • Water  Our water fountains were converted to bottle fillers.  We do not have disposable cups to offer thirsty students.  Please consider purchasing an insulated water bottle.  Some come with clips that attach to book bags. Please WRITE YOUR CHILD'S FULL NAME on non-disposable bottles so we can re-connect lost items with the owner.
  • Venting Machines  Tech High School does not have any vending machines on campus.
  • Leaving at lunchtime.  Students are not permitted to leave campus for lunch.
  • Delivery Services  Students are not permitted to receive meals delivered by services such as GrubHub; Door Dash; Uber Eats, etc. or deliveries directly from the restaurant, such as McDonalds; Pizza Hut, etc. These drivers will be turned away or the food confiscated until after the school day concludes.
  • Parent's Delivery  Parents who wish to deliver food to their children,
    • Only deliver to their child (not friends or small groups).
    • Write the name on the bag as we can get more than one parent delivery
    • Park your car in our visitor's parking spot and walk into the office to drop the food off.
    • We will not call your child out of class to receive the meal.  During his/her lunchtime, he or she may come to the office to pick it up.
